Dimension of the equilibrium measure on
Consider the dynamics of endomorphisms of degree . This note presents an explicit and elementary counterexample to the dimension formula for the equilibrium measure conjectured by Binder--DeMarco, coming from the same family of quadratic skew products that appeared recently by Bianchi--He. In addition, the note shows that the one-sided inequality holds for the equilibrium measure of every degree- holomorphic endomorphism of . The proof adapts Dupont's volume-growth method to the unstable flag: combined with Gromov's orbit-graph argument, it bounds the cumulative partial entropies. Qian--Xie's extension of Ledrappier--Young theory then yields the inequality.
