Nested Squares and Distinct-Prime Goldbach Partitions
The distinct-prime Goldbach conjecture asserts that for every there is with and both prime; geometrically, nested squares of side lengths and have an L-shaped difference of semiprime area . With and the sets of for which , respectively , is prime, the conjecture for is . We embed this centered condition in a straddling one: lies in the set of half-differences of primes . From Mikawa's theorem on prime pairs with almost all differences we deduce for every , and with explicit constants we prove for every . Consequently, for all large and all but primes , the number becomes prime after adding the difference of two primes ; Goldbach's partition is the case . In contrast, for every , and covering all but values of for all large would imply the Cram\'er-type bound . The method also shows that is a sum of two distinct primes for more than integers , for every . Computations up to compare the number of distinct-prime partitions with the Hardy--Littlewood prediction and measure the missing values of forced by prime gaps. The conjecture itself is not proved here.
