Abstract

We prove that quiver mutation equivalence up to relabeling is undecidable even for one fixed source quiver. We also prove strong NP-hardness.

GPT-6-Pro was used to develop the proofs in a research session lasting approximately 4 hours and 14 minutes. Codex was used to audit the proofs and revise the exposition. A separate Rethlas-OSV review will be added once completed.
