CONTENTS

parabolic-cotangent-singularities.tex
  The complete, unchanged LaTeX source of the previously supplied 14-page PDF
  (version 3). All macros and bibliography entries are contained in this file.
  No separate .bib file, figures, custom class, or custom style files are needed.

build.sh
  Builds the manuscript with latexmk and pdfLaTeX.

abstract.tex
  The abstract subsequently drafted in the conversation. It is supplied as a
  separate snippet and is not incorporated into the manuscript source above.

production-context.txt
  The subsequently drafted statement describing how the work was produced.
  It is likewise separate from the manuscript.

BUILD

Install a TeX distribution such as TeX Live or MiKTeX with latexmk, the amsart
class, and these standard packages: fontenc, lmodern, amsmath, amssymb,
mathtools, microtype, needspace, geometry, xcolor, and hyperref.

In this directory, run:

  sh build.sh

Alternatively, run:

  latexmk -pdf -interaction=nonstopmode -halt-on-error parabolic-cotangent-singularities.tex

Without latexmk, run pdfLaTeX repeatedly until the cross-reference warnings
disappear (normally two or three passes). BibTeX and Biber are not required.

The output is parabolic-cotangent-singularities.pdf in this directory.
To remove temporary compilation files while retaining the PDF, run:

  latexmk -c parabolic-cotangent-singularities.tex

ADDING THE ABSTRACT

To incorporate the separately supplied abstract, insert

  \input{abstract}

immediately before \maketitle in the manuscript source. This changes the
pagination relative to the previously supplied PDF.

SCOPE

The main source is an export of the existing manuscript, not a new revision.
Clarifications discussed after that PDF was produced have not been silently
incorporated. Third-party reference publications are linked in the embedded
bibliography and are not redistributed in this package.
