# AI provenance: Which String Vibrations Become Which Generations on the Dwork Quintic

Authors: Deep Bhattacharjee and Ushashi Bhattacharya. No AI system is an author or contributor.

## How the work was produced

Deep Bhattacharjee chose the problem, directed the work and ran the computations. Claude (Anthropic), used through Claude Code under his direction, produced the proofs, the Lean 4 file, the programs, the figures and the LaTeX text, which the authors reviewed. The search for constructions was organised on the BLLM engine Anaxia (creelie/eBLLM; record made on release 3.1.0, current release 3.2.1, https://github.com/creelie/eBLLM/releases/tag/v3.2.1) by its learn-from-failure protocol; the engine supplied no step of the proofs. Both authors approved the final version.

## How the results are checked

Every statement is proved in the paper. The computations are archived in release v1.2.0 and rechecked by 215 independent checks (C, C++, Python, Julia, Macaulay2) and 14 Lean 4 theorems, each axiom-free or depending on propext only.

## What is not claimed

The Geometric Selection Conjecture is not proved; the paper reduces it to one open existence statement (a viable vacuum fixed by mirror symmetry).

## Labels given on the Hexagon form

- Text of the contribution: a mix of human-written and AI-generated (to be confirmed by the authors).
- Human understanding at submission: some parts, but not all, checked and understood by a human (to be confirmed by the authors).
